We have received reports notifying that third parties are contacting members listed in the Award Winners Registry for commercial purposes, promoting and selling marketing packages purported as "business awards". Members have also received unsolicited WhatsApp messages claiming that they are invited for various "awards". Please be advised that ATC do not issue invitation of such through messaging platforms (eg: WhatsApp). Businesses are advised to exercise precaution and verify the party's identity. Entry & Application Requirements
To qualify as a valid entrant for the Cyber Security Excellence Award, the organisation must meet all of the following entry requirements:-
The applicant must be a registered entity under ACRA with a valid Unique Entity Number.
(All entity types are accepted. ie: Sole Proprietorship, Private Limited Company, Limited Liability Partnership)
The business must be in operations for at least three (03) years.
The business is to be headquartered in Singapore.
The business must have an annual turnover of more than S$ 50,000 in the immediate preceding financial year.
The business have implemented cybersecurity measures as part of their business processes.
1 – The business would need to be certified for Cyber Essentials or Cyber Trust by the time of the award. Non-Certified enterprises will be referred to CSEA partnering certification body to undergo certification. Refer to explanatory notes below.
For CSA Cyber Essentials / Trust Mark Certified Enterprises
CSA Cyber Essentials / Trust Mark enterprises are eligible to proceed to the shortlisting stage upon submission of an application under the CSEA.
The evaluation of whether the enterprise will be shortlisted to proceed for assessment will commence upon submission of application and shall be assessed in accordance to the entry requirements indicated above.
Certified enterprises are required to upload the Cyber Essentials / Trust Mark Certification for verification purpose (certificate upload can be done through the BizPortal).
For Non-Certified Enterprises
Non-Certified enterprises may proceed to submit an application under the CSEA. Upon application submission, ATC will verify whether the enterprise is certified or have applied for CSA's Cyber Essentials / Trust Mark certification.
If the enterprise has not been certified or has not applied for the certification, the enterprise will be referred to the CSEA appointed certification body - ISOCert Pte Ltd to undergo the certification process.
Upon completion of certification, ISOCert Pte Ltd will provide ATC with a copy of the certification and the applicant will proceed to the shortlisting and judging process.
Important Note:
Entrants that meets all of the above entry and application requirements may submit an application to participate in the Cyber Security Excellence Award.
During submission of application, entrants will be required to complete the Cyber Security Excellence Award Entry Assessment Questionnaire to validate the entrant's qualifying criteria.
Only shortlisted entrants will proceed to the judging and assessment stage.
